Calling all our Aussie friends...
Just want to say WOW. Found this pic online... I know the Australian Freshwater Spiny Lobster or Murry Crayfish gets huge, but REALLY? Think this is real?

that's obviously fake. The woman's probably 10 feet from the camera and the crayfish is maybe 6 inches away.300 gallon mega tank: build in progress
75 gallon community tank: tetras, danios, corys, platies, otos, pearl gouramis, bristlenose pleco, assassin snails, red cherry shrimp, bamboo shrimp
70 gallon growout tank: clown loaches, sailfin pleco
60 gallon goldfish tank: fancy goldfish
29 gallon frog tank: 1 bullfrog
10 gallon and 5.5 gallon betta tanks: 1 male betta each, sometimes snails

There is no way she could hold up a lobster as big as she is like it was made of paper. Also, the lobster is at a different focal depth from everything else in the photo

Fake pic or not, the Murry Cray is still an awsome invert! Especially impressive for freshwater. I read they average over a foot weighing near 2 lbs. It makes me wonder... The Atlantic Maine Lobster averages about the same, yet there has been specimens caught over 40 lbs! Just something to ponder.
