Krylon Fusion Paint

Hello fish keepers,

Question for you all... I understand that Krylon Fusion Paint is considered aquarium safe. Does this apply to submerged state as well?
Secondly, if the answer is yes, does this also apply to Saltwater tanks as well?

yes to the first question. I have krylon fusion-coated PVC plumbing in my tank that has been there since I set it up in February. I don't know for sure about saltwater though.

Thanks Brinho, always can count on you for a speedy reply. I always felt it was aquarium safe since I have heard a lot of recommendations. Only now I need someone to confirm if its reef safe since this is going to be my intention.

Just make sure you apply it right. Thin coats and let them dry before recoating. I got in a hurry with one of my overflows and it shows. flaked off in quite a few places. No problems with the ones I took my time on.

I have read plenty of success stories and never read about any problems.

So have I, but I can't remember if any of those were SW. Anyway, will keep searching and will mention it time to time whist I set up my first SW venture
