Are you sure its a crab or just a molted shell? If you touch it, does it react?
Also, is this a crab only habitat? They require brackish water and places to climb out of the water.Last edited by Aeonflame; 07-16-2011 at 12:45 PM.

Me thinks this should be in the crab forum and not the How To. Now moved.

I'd say it just molted unless you bought a single mutated crab. :) typically the crab will eat the shell it molted to gather calcium to rebuild its exoskeleton.
