I wil be getting a new shipment of plants this week, and I want to eliminate any pond snails that might be passengers.

I was thinking of floating the plants in an (otherwise) empty tank and dosing the water with Aquari-Sol, which is a copper salt solution. It's an old plant safe ick treatment, so I don't have to worry about it harming the plants.

Will the Aquari-Sol kill the snail eggs along with the snails? The eggs have to be somewhat permeable, so oxygen gets inside, but I didn't know if the copper would too. If not, I'll have to float the plants for at least 2 weeks to make sure any eggs hatch; once out, the babies would die from the copper just like the adults.

Thanks, anybody.
