On the subject of sinking driftwood
This is a question born of my being lazy
I'm working on sinking a piece of boiled driftwood in my tank. I had it tied to a few "aquarium stones" with fishing line and that kept it down for a few weeks. I decided to check to see if it was logged enough to sink on its own and snipped off the rocks.
It's floating right at the top of my tank. I'm wondering if you think it will eventually sink or if the lights constantly drying the top of the piece of wood will actually harm the process. I'll tie it back down again need be but the guy who just finished a 7 day, 64 hour week of work has little interest at the moment.
Thanks in advance for any and all replies16g-planted1 Powder Blue Dwarf Gourami, 4 Cherry Barbs (more to come)
