Trying to refinance and we don't have the abstract. Long story short, the bank we closed at 10 yrs ago said if we had proof they had it, they would pay to replace it. Well I found a letter from them dated 1999 saying they had our abstract and was going to send it to another company for keeping. Well it never got there, now the bank says i have to prove they intended to keep it. Whatever. I think I'll have to keep going higher up.
