My first spawn and egg pic
I noticed two angels would not leave my silver dollars alone today and there was a lot of chasing going on. I just looked in the tank and now I see why.
I still don't know which is the female but I have to assume the larger but the other one is only 5 months old. I didn't know they mated that early.
Didn't have a tank ready or slate out or nothing. This one took me by surprise.Cycling With Fish?•• The Fishless Cycle••

Well, looks like your going to have some babies on your hands! Congratulations! Are you going to be keeping them or selling them?

Funny how things go, huh? Yesterday that elder died not have her young and today I didn't expect anything and have oddles of eggs from the angels.
Not expecting much here as they are in a tank with gravel so will probably lose all if not most.Last edited by Lady Hobbs; 04-11-2007 at 09:06 AM.

As I mentioned to you yesterday, the only fish in this area is Mrs. Paul's, I have no idea what I'd do with them. I have 9 angels now.

Gravel is bad for the angels? do you have a spare tank you could move them too, because we pay 6 bucks for 1 inch angels around here. You could get yourself some tank money, right? lol

I may have to clean out the 10 gallon and move the spawning tube to that but I'd like to see how the parents do with them.

Congradulations!!! good luck with the babies, if I were closer I'd offer to take a couple of fry off your hands for a good price, but I'm nowhere near you.

I wish you were too. You'd get more than a couple. :)
