    Default Adding Rocks

I have some nice rocks that I would like to add to my tank, I do not know if they would be safe or not. I did pour a little vinegar on them and nothing happened but I am thinking there could still be something I am missing. I do have a TDS meter (don't know anything about) Should I fill a bucket, take a reading, add the rocks overnight then check it again? Or is there a way to be sure?

    Thanks,
    Karen

So I soaked the rocks overnight and took a ph reading on the water from the tap (same as what went into bucket) and the water the rocks have been in, they are the same. Anything else I should check?
