  1. Default 46 gallon corner tank... what to stock it with? :)

    So i have this spare 46 gallon corner tank that i was thinking about stocking with a few sunfish from the pond out back? make it more of a native tank? I'm open to ANY ideas tho, just trying to keep this one cheap lol just dropped $500 on my new 29 gallon. just wanting some different ideas for this 46 gallon :p
    29 Gallon: 7 Neon Tetras, 5 Glowlight Tetras, 2 Pleco, and 2 German Blue Rams!!

    What kind of Sunfish are they?
    Tank 1: 20gal Long Planted Freshwater - 1 Crowntail Betta + 8 Oto Cats + 1 Horned Nerite Snail + 3 Orange Rabbit Snail + 4 Amano Shrimp
    Tank 2: 75gal Planted Freshwater - 6 Serpaes + 18 Black Ruby Barbs + 3 Golden Wonder Killies + 1 Opaline Gourami + 2 Striped Raphael Cat + 4 SAEs + 5 Assassin Snails
    Tank 3: 10gal Planted Brackish Water - 4 Nerite Snails
    Tank 4: 10gal Planted Freshwater - 5 Rabbit Snails + RCS

    They are beautiful fish, Wish they stayed that small.

    I would go with a planted tank, maybe dirted substrate, with a large single species school of tetras, and one or two pairs of dwarf cichlids, if your aquascape provides the natural boudaries for two pairs.

    I am making a lot of assumptions here, but the great thing about a corner tank is that its typically taller. What is the height and dimensions of your tank.

    If over 18" tall I think that style of tank is perfectly suited for angelfish.....although not that inexpensive.

    Agreed with either idea. That would be a very nice tank.

    That what i have right now in my 30 gallon, it looks great too!

    its defiantly over 18" lol and im just guessing its a 46 gallon, so i could be wrong but im pretty sure it is
