Never kept them but not quite right for a 46 long term from what I am seeing, A thread on them is here.
    Gas mileage isn't everything OIIIIIIIO
Lack of planning on your part does not constitute an emergency on my part.
Why pretend there are no stupid questions? Actually, There are many stupid questions: "Should I drink this bleach?" Is just one example.
Having said that, Just because it's a stupid question doesn't mean that it shouldn't be asked. It's better to know.

A warm beer is better than a cold beer. Because nothing is better than a cold beer, and a warm beer is better than nothing.

I would go with a planted tank, maybe dirted substrate, with a large single species school of tetras, and one or two pairs of dwarf cichlids, if your aquascape provides the natural boudaries for two pairs.

I am making a lot of assumptions here, but the great thing about a corner tank is that its typically taller. What is the height and dimensions of your tank.

If over 18" tall I think that style of tank is perfectly suited for angelfish.....although not that inexpensive.

Agreed with either idea. That would be a very nice tank.
