Marbled Hatchet fish help!
Im looking at adding some marbled hatchet fish to my tank, its a 180l so was thinking of adding between 6-8.
My tanks got a fully sealed lid and a few floating plants so im pretty happy with that but i do have two golden wonder killifish that live at the surface. Does anyone have any experience in how the two would interact?
any other suggestions or advice is appreciated! not 100% decided on getting these fish yet, still doing my research
Thanks!!!!

I've kept them in the past and find them to not be as sensative as some would have you believe. How long has your tank been running? If it's cycled you schould have no problem indroducing them.
They are still a characin so they like companey, good on you to buy a big school if you choose to go with them.
Feeding can be a problem with thier upturned mouths so you have to make sure they have food that floats and tankmates that are less aggresive (Cardinal Tetras?) so they get thier share but I have seen them stand up for themselves to.
Keep some floating plants, either real or artifical, this makes them feel more secure.
I've never kept Killies so I can't tell you thier disposition.
Good luck with them if you decide to try them.

Marbled hatchets didnt like my water but the bigger silvers did. They arent that spooky with other fish but if you startle them they will jump. Any hole bigger then a postage stamp will be used.

Silvers are hardier but like I said Marbeled are not that hard to take care of.
I say if you like them that get them, it sounds like you've already made your tank "escape proof". Only questions remains is if they will be compatible with your killies.
If you get them I think you will enjoy their different personality.
