    Default Platys eat meat???

    I caught my nephew feeding my platys, guppies , well ALL my aquarium animals his nacho supreme. The fish went crazy eating the taco meat, before I could even get the net to get the taco meat out. I have a 20 gallon planted, established tank with 2 female platy, 1 swordtail, 2 guppies, 1 unknown catfish, 2 african dwarf frogs and around 20 wild caught ghost shrimp. I am in shock, do they NEED protein? I feed flakes daily, and frozen bloodwroms alternate days, and sometimes frozen brine shrimp.....any suggestions as to why they are gobbling taco meat?

    Platys eat ANYTHING!
    Used to try and keep track of my fish here.....

    Ran out of room and time!!!

    Instead I'll tell you the best piece of fishkeeping equipment ever....... Algae Scrubber :)
