    Default ready to cycling my Aquarium..filtration question

    getting ready to start my fishless cycling..my question is.. i got a 40g breeder with a Aquaclear power filtrer40-70g..300gph...a friend gave me a Aquaclear power filter 20-50g..200gph...can i use both togerther or will it be to much filtration ...

    It is absolutely not too much filtration [No such thing], An AC50 and an AC70 sound like a solid combo to me.

    This is just a bit over what I would consider the minimum appropriate filtration and I congratulate you on that, We really don't see that very often.

    Thanks 850R..it wasnt a AC50..it was a AC30..will it still be ok
