So my lovely freakin' wife allowed my daughter to win a stinking goldfish at a stupid local town event. Since I am every so pleased about this crap yet am unwilling to just kill the fish this means I'm adding a stupid tank for the stupid goldfish.

Coldwater setup, 38 gallon with sand (here I come SSAAC) substrate, fake plants. 1 stupid stinkin' freakin' goldfish, maybe 2 dojo loaches, and a small school of white clouds.

So, I need a "vote" of sorts on filtration. Eheim 2028 canister or Aquaclear 110? Now, I know that the Eheim is superior, but since I am SO freakin' happy to have to be adding this lovely coldwater tank, I'd like to save a little money. Any thoughts?

Oh, and BTW, I named the goldfish. His name can't be printed here, but it is a compound word. The first word is a slang word that is used to reference one's posterior and the other word is "hole".

My daughter just calls him "Goldie". Thankfully.
