Blueness on my new plant

So I got two new plants the other day, one being an Amazon Sword.

When I got it I noticed a tiny brown dot, that turned into a big blue dot, then two, and now there is on another left, not sure what it is.

Is something wrong? Should I just tear the blue part off and let the plant heal?

Just cut that leaf off. It will not heal.

When you mentioned the color blue, I thought of blue-green algae that came with the plant, but from the pictures it just looks like some kind of physical damage, maybe from the transport? as Lady Hobbs said, cut the bad leaves off, the spots likely will spread to cover the entire leaves anyways.

Yeah thats what I ended up doing, I hope it doesn't come back.

They plant was fine when it entered the tank... any way its because the roots aren't under the gravel?

Amazon Sword roots shouldn't be completely buried. A small part of the crown (the white part) should be visible above the gravel or it will likely rot. The discoloration could just be the plant acclimating to your tank, or it could be a nutrient deficiency. Amazon Swords are heavy root feeders, I would recommend root tabs (such as Seachem Flourish tabs)
