. I bought a proven pair of angelfish from a friend.
Eggs have been laid on a long slate, had to remove the male as they were fighting and one was going to be injured so moved the male to another tank.
This is a 30 gal. high the pair are in, now the female is taking good care of the eggs. The eggs should hatch the next day, but she ate them.
I think we bothered her as we were looking at the eggs and hubby even turned the overhead light on at night to see if they had hatched and after that the eggs were no more.
I'm going to let her try again and cover the tank with a black cloth and have hooked up a sponge filter and will turn off the 400 emperor if eggs are laid again and just let the sponge run.
Sorry for rambling but have raised and sold baby angels before so know how to hatch them out myself. I can't find any methylene blue except in 4oz. I used to buy it in 16 oz.
Does anyone know where I can get a larger size? Any suggestions about the pair fighting or eating of eggs will be appreciated.
