Need some help identifying

Hooray for my first post (other than the introduction of course)!

So my friends and i decided to go out and look for native aquatic plants to put into our tanks We head up to a pond and i found a group of these plants. Im not entirely sure what they are, but when i found them they were covered in mud and algae. so brought home a few stems and cleaned them off thoroughly and they give my brown pencilfish (Nannostomus eques) a nice little comfort zone

. Any ideas on what it could be?

The plant is a little beat up, but there is some new growth so im not too worried.

I went on and did some extensive researching and have only really got the idea that it may be a kind of ludwigia. maybe a L. repens x L. arcuata.

Looks like the repens to me also.

I have Ludwigia Repens in my tank. Mine's a bit redder, but is most likely b/c of the T5HO lighting I have. Looks healthy and most likely could be a Ludwigia Repens, so will give it a 95% sure it is.

Next to my paired Rams off to the right, are my Ludwigia Repens.
