feeding question
I have what I think is a spotted sailfin pleco who is my pride and joy of my tank. He cleaned out 10 gallon tank overnight. We moved him in our 100 gallon tank and he's doing really well! My question is there isn't any algea in the new tank yet so I've been giving him algea chips and he eats them no problem I usually give him one or two a night and he eats them by morning and I want to give him frsh cucumber and zuchinni but I don't want to over feed him? Any advice on how much I should feed him and is it bad to give him that many chips? Any info would be much appreciated

You can't over feed with zucchini. Make sure to take the remains out the next day so they don't rot. Keep feeding algae wafers. Never stop. While algae is a part of a pleco diet but not their staple diet.
Unfortunately too many stores sell plecos as algae eaters and the fish die of nutrient starvation in months or weeks.

Does the large tank have any driftwood? My Bristle Noses love munching on that wood for their fiber. I've also seen them attacking Blanched and Smushed Pea remains.
