    Default Baby snail discovery

I have two mystery snails. One died last night but I was looking at my plant and noticed what I thought was an egg (sooo tiny) went to get my camera and came back and the "egg" had moved a little bit . maybe I need glasses but I've discovered it's a snail! I want to keep this snail alive, however it has been born into an agressive environment with a large crayfish And stands no chance.

    What do I do?
Can I moved the snail into a smaller community or will it die if I disturb it? I don't know anything about this at all

you could move it, it'd probably do fine. Snails are pretty hardy.

I question whether this is a mystery snail baby though. Mystery snails reproduce by laying a large, hard clutch of eggs above the water line - it's pretty hard to miss. If you haven't seen that, then your mystery snails didn't spawn.

there's about a 99% chance it's a pond snail.. they're usually considered pests. They can reproduce very quickly and take over a tank. Personally, I would remove it.

Yup I found another one on the same plant I just got this plant on Tuesday so it makes sense . I took them both out there about the size of your pupil when it's at it's smallest. I'm going to keep them in a small homemade tank see how they make out haha just want to make sure there not mystery snails cause I'd rather keep them if they are. But thank you for your help!

Also- if I do have an outbreak I have a verrry aggressive crayfish who will take care of them no problem. That thing eats all day long anything and everything :)
