    That's one of my favorite things to have on the bbq. Does he marinate it in something?

    No actually, he gets the mantle, opens it up, then criss crosses it so it can curl under the heat, salt and pepper it, sizzle sizzle . . . minute or so later *ta da* bbq squid still tasting of the sea. . . . .mmmmmm im hungry now

    I wish it was easier to get here in the Canadian North

    It sounds like you have the same trouble as I do here, Cliff. I live in an inland city, and sometimes it's hard to get nice fresh seafoods. There's a guy who travels to Sydney, which is about 3 hours drive from here, and he goes to the big fish markets, then brings it back to sell. I think he only does it about twice a week. All our other seafood is the stuff you buy from a supermarket, and it's just not as fresh, or it's frozen.
