  1. Default I am looking at getting a bigger filter.

I am wondering if anyone in this forum had used the Fluval G-3 or G-6 filters.
I am looking at replacing my Fluval 205 on my 45 gallon tank and Fluval 405 on my 90 gallon tank. I want to use either a G-3series filter or the new 306 for the 40 gallon. On the 90 Gallon I am looking at using a G-6 series or a Fluval 406 filter. I want to increase the flow in my 40 gallon and the 306 is about 1.6 times the flow rate more than the 205. My cichlids are pigs so I want them to have better water. My water quality is still good but I want it to be better. I am running power heads as well.

there is a member here (sailor) who uses them and loves them. bit too pricey IMO for bells and whistles I don't need.
