diy paintball co2
Has anyone here been succesful using paintball c02 tanks with no regulator? am i being stupid? ive seen some forums post that it is possible but i was wondering if anyone here has done it. trying to go cheap and not splurge on a full size c02 setup, bought a 20 oz. tank, on/off valve, needle valve, co2 tubing, diy bubble counter, mini elite diffuser, other misc stuff. but i do not have a psi gauge for this and im worried about running the pressure too low and ending up with an explosion. plus it seems hard to get a consistent bubble count. goes great for a few seconds then dies off, when i try to adjust on off valve i get a rocket ship all of a sudden, is diy paintball co2 just a headache that isnt worth the money i save or can it be done.

Ok, point taken, guess I'm just being dumb, will invest in a real co2 system.
