german ram or bolivian ram
Ok im fixing to get a 47 gallon bow front and im putting one angelfish, some dalmation mollies and possibly glofish in but we definitely want either the german blue or bloivian ram in there. Which one would go better? Pros and cons of each? How many 2 or 3-5? How many mollies do u suggest? Thank u

German Blues are far more picky about there water, I would suggest getting bolivians. Around 5 would be a nice number.
Mollies get 1m 3f and you will have babies in no time.My therapist says I need a bigger tank . . . . .

I have a German blue ram in my 12 gallon planted tank and have had no issues with her being demanding about the water quality. I do a 2.5 gallon water change every week and add in a capful of the amazon extract and she's as happy as I've ever seen a fish. She also is quite the capable food beggar as as soon as she sees anyone she shoots to the top of the tank.
12 gallon- Freshwater planted tank
55 gallon- Saltwater semi-reef tank

Both kinds of Ram are beautiful fish, but I think as far as having the best personality, and being the most placid out of the two is concerned, I would have to pick the Bolivians. If you get 5 of them, do your best to get 1 male and 4 females. If it's 4, then 1 male and 3 females.
Three-fourths of the Earth's surface is water, and one-fourth is land. It is quite clear that the good Lord intended us to spend triple the amount of time fishing as taking care of the lawn. ~Chuck Clark

I had GBR's in with some angels and they did not get along together well at all. Rather territorial.
If you put mollies in with your angel be prepared for your angel to eat the fry if it gets a chance.~Col~
