Help! Bubbles on Cardninals??
Hi,
I recently noticed a small clear/whiteish bubble over the mouth of on one of my cardinals. 2 more now have similar bubbles, one under the stomach and one over its eye. I have googled this but am struggling to find any answers!
I noticed ich on 2 of my rummys about 4 months ago and treated this with no deaths but this does not look like that. They are bubbles rather than white spots.
Water Parameters are all normal so am unsure of the cause. nothing new has been introduced recently.
Help would be greatly appreciated as I don't want my cardinals to die or to pass it on to any other fish.
Thanks
Emz

Did you do a water change?
Are the fish acting normal?

Emz,
Check the pictures in this thread and see if its similar to what you are seeing: http://www.aquaticcommunity.com/aqua...ad.php?t=82650
If so... you can read up on what I did, but I too was not able to come to a conclusion on what the issue was. I do still have a few of the cardinals left that were in the tank with those two that remain symptom free.

The first one has been there just over a week as i am stumped on what is best to do, the others I only noticed coming yesterday. Water change was done last Sunday, I do 20% every other week- its a 190L tank.
Sorry Can't seem to post pictures.
Hmm Trilliane, I am not sure if the same the one that have developed under the stomach in the last few days looks similar but the other 2 are more 'bubble' like. Thanks for the advice, I will head down to the shop tomorrow and see what they have.
Is it possible its related to the ich from a few months ago?
