Idea for fiddler crab "airpocket"
Has anyone made an underwater fiddler crab "airpocket house"
I was thinking of tanking some sort of weighted base, and attaching a pole that goes straight up into a circular disk with a hole cut into it. Then on top of the disk i would silicone some sort or clear looking "bowl" or something like that. Drill a hole into the bowl and run and air line in it. Would this work or be worth a shot. I was thinking the fiddler could climb the pole and enter the bowl from the bottom through the hole, and as long as it was weighting or anchored well, it should stay upright and hole air for him to go inside and chill out.
Any thoughts.

A couple years ago someone posted their crab tank with an inverted bowl in it. They said it worked well IIRC.

Nothings impossible, if you were going to do it you would need to really think it through. If you decide to do it then keep us updated with pics

I always love seeing some of the things that people come up with and make from scratch, gives an aquarium a totally unique look and can really personalise it
best of luck
