how to tell a male barb from a female
I have 2 rosy barbs 1 fem 1 male, just got 4 new barbs 2 albino 2 tiger and its quite hard to figure out whos what, anyone had this fun before? been looking at pics on google but think the fish havnt matured yet which is the possible, there are some red colours showing though so just wondering if anyone has any better photos that could help.

well, i have a male and female tiger barb... to identify the sexes, look at their color... the male usually have brighter colors and has a red-orange mouth and the females have duller color and have yellow-orange mouths

as for tiger barbs, (based on my experience), the male has a red line on his dorsal fin and the female has only half red line(sorry for bad English) on her dorsal fin... and the male will become greener when it is spawning...
