well she sort of has a point. How many fry does the average livebearer produce over the course of its lifetime? How many are destined to grow to reproducing adults themselves? The vast majority of them are meant to die prematurely one way or another. Imagine what the fish tanks, lakes, etc of the world would look like if that weren't the case.
