  1. Default Snail eggs - what to do?

    0 Not allowed!
Hello! I have had a mystery snail for eight months now. Suddenly, I have found a clutch of eggs on the hood of the aquarium. My main concern is that the snails will overrun my aquarium (I have 5 tetras and a couple of ghost shrimp in the tank as well). Do the snails pose a threat to my tank? If so, will the other inhabitants eat them? My tank is 10 gallons with live plants.

Any ideas on how this happened? I've read that these snails are not hermaphrodites. I've also read that they can store sperm for months, but 8+ months seems like a long time!

Thanks for any insight you can provide!

    They can store sperm.
Let them hatch and rear them for a while. Many people would like them as RAOKs, and will pay postage. (Random Act of Kindness)
