Bristle Nose and Acrylic Tanks
Came across postings lately about Pleco's and Acrylic tanks. Is it possible for a BN to chew up or scratch up the inside of the tank? I don't want mine to get harmed from doing so, and would love to hear from the BN keepers out there on this.

No.
I've had mine in an acrylic tank for over a year now. No problems for him or the tank. Acrylic may not be as hard as glass, but it's not like it's butter either.300 gallon mega tank: build in progress
75 gallon community tank: tetras, danios, corys, platies, otos, pearl gouramis, bristlenose pleco, assassin snails, red cherry shrimp, bamboo shrimp
70 gallon growout tank: clown loaches, sailfin pleco

29 gallon frog tank / 10 gallon tadpole tank: 1 leopard frog, 1 tadpole
10 gallon and 5.5 gallon betta tanks: 1 male betta each, sometimes snails

Was thinking the statement about them was bogus. Came across it, while looking for any other algae eaters I haven't seen before. I've only had them for like a week. It's a pair of 2"ers, so when I saw this; was thinking if true--why I wasn't warned. I got them from someone who knows I have acrylic.
