Canister vs Sump Filtration.
i'm posting this just to get some advice whether I should opt for a canister filter or a sump filter for a Planted Aquarium thus which one has the least effect on CO2 level in water?

sumps are awful for co2 holding. theres so much water agitation because the water is getting surface/air exchange on not 1 but basically 2 tanks. canistars bar none are the best for holding co2 as they offer the smallest amount of surface agitation if you have the input/output on the lowerhalf of the tank.
