Bubble nest!

I've had my betta for just under two weeks now, and am amazed at how much stage presence he has! I originally named him Moe as a pun, but his name is now Mooch, for his personality.

He's about 2.5 cm from nose to base of tail, so I've been assuming he's pretty young.

This morning, I discovered that he's built a bubble nest, about 4 inches in diameter.

Awwww....my little guy is growing up and trolling for babes.

lucky. mine rarely make bubble nests. Ive only had them make them once.

I have a couple of males, and a couple of very cranky females, who are blowing bubbles like there's no tomorrow. My oldest male, though, apparently can't be bothered to build a nest. He'll show off to everyone in view, but his nesting is half-hearted or lazy at best
