Female Betta Releasing Eggs
^_^ My female betta Mercury unexpectedly releasing eggs into my big tank. Thanks to Genocidex for posting it to YouTube
I seriously did not know Mercury was carrying eggs. Her color hid the creamy sides that would have given her away, and there was no male in that tank to begin with. When I spotted her releasing eggs I could only stare at her for a good ten minutes.
Pardon all the excess debris floating around; it escaped the gravel siphon when I was giving the tank its major cleaning, and most of it will get sucked up during the weekly water change. Also, the mark above Mercury's left eye is a long-healed scar, and I am not entirely sure where she got it.

I love watching things like that! Thanks for sharing!
It looked like that she was eating the eggs as she was releasing them!
Three-fourths of the Earth's surface is water, and one-fourth is land. It is quite clear that the good Lord intended us to spend triple the amount of time fishing as taking care of the lawn. ~Chuck Clark

She was eating them. They were infertile, and since I didn't know she was full of eggs I didn't have her with a male. The eggs would not have hatched anyway
