Hello from Buffalo
Hi, my name is Heather. I started maintaining tanks about 10 or 12 years ago, but nothing spectacular in the tanks. Some tetra's, platy's, Angelfish. I currently have I have one tank running, 55 gallon with 3 Harlequin Rosbara, 4 Barbs and pretty bare inside, and a 60 gallon hex that I am starting over on. Some my plans for the 60 Hex include building 3d background, adding LED lighting, live plants, and move the fish from the 55 to here. And then revamp the 55 with Cichlids.

Hi Heather! Welcome to AC!
Sounds like you have some work ahead of you. It's gonna be great to see how it all turns out!
Three-fourths of the Earth's surface is water, and one-fourth is land. It is quite clear that the good Lord intended us to spend triple the amount of time fishing as taking care of the lawn. ~Chuck Clark

If you take your time to do the research FIRST, you can successfully set-up and keep ANY type of aquarium with ease.
