How did you cycle your tank ?
What size of tank and filter do you have ?If you take your time to do the research FIRST, you can successfully set-up and keep ANY type of aquarium with ease.

A cycled tank should not be showing any ammonia. How long has the tank been set up, what is your water change schedule and how do you maintain your filter?
If it's called tourist season why can't I shoot them?

I think my fish is adjusting well to the four gallon, He's laying on his side attempting to go to sleep on the bottom of the gravel.

i have done a water change twice now within a couple of days. i finally got it down to .5 was at 1-2...so thats good but still not happy with it. changed the bio and put a aqueon whisper on the tank for good measure...i will have to get a new filter when i get them a bigger tank and it will be a canister filter for sure..

Changed the bio? Does this mean you changed the filter media completely? It has been up two weeks, so my bet is it isn't cycled. Please read this link. It will help you understand what you are dealing with and show you how to deal with it.

Tell us how you clean your filter. Did you change out all the media or just rinse it in old tank water and put it back in. Also how soon after the change did you test the water?
