Pictus Catfish what size?
I have found diffrent information online about Pictus Catfish. some say thay get 4-6" some say they get 10". What is more right?

4-6" seems to be more accurate. Fishbase and planetcatfish both have them listed at 10-12cm (4-5").

I never got one since I thought they always grew to 10", but finding out it is more like 6" I am going to get one for my 38g.

I wouldnt reccomend them for anything under a 75. They are big, and move around ALOT. Back in the day, when i had one, i dont think he ever sat still. They also like to uproot plants, decor, and re arrange your gravel.

Why not give it a try. If it becomes a probelm back to the Fish store it can go.

I think they can get around 8-10 inches long.
