Pool Filter Sand Online ?
Is there a website that sells pool filter sand online ? im planning on replacing my gravel with this and most of the hardware stores in my area dont even know what im talking about and they keep saying they have play sand. There are no pool supply stores near me because this is SanFrancisco and people barely have pools out here . So yea can someone help me out with this ?

If you have to buy online, expect to pay through the teeth on shipping costs. How much sand are you looking for? A more expensive type of sand might still be cheaper if you don't have to pay shipping.
300 gallon mega tank: build in progress
75 gallon community tank: tetras, danios, corys, platies, otos, pearl gouramis, bristlenose pleco, assassin snails, red cherry shrimp, bamboo shrimp
70 gallon growout tank: clown loaches, sailfin pleco
60 gallon goldfish tank: fancy goldfish
29 gallon frog tank / 10 gallon tadpole tank: 1 leopard frog, 1 tadpole
10 gallon and 5.5 gallon betta tanks: 1 male betta each, sometimes snails

Pool filter sand comes in about 50 pound bags...so the shipping cost would be steap. I paid ten bucks for my bag....shipping ont he stuff I saw was like 50 bucks.

No pool supply companies in CA? Do an online search because there has to be companies all over the place there.
