  1. Default The Rena 150 Heater. Opinions?

I purchased the Rena 150 cause I needed a heater anyway: It was on sale from 39.99 to 9.97! Whow! Thats a low price! Seriously though:

Are these heaters fully submersible? Im kinda concerned cause the manual shows it only above water.

    Thanks,
    Sean

Now, As i read through the instructions for this heater, as it has some specific questions I have never noticed with a heater, I wondered, what is the best way to set up this heater and HOB filter? Should I put the heater right by the waterfall of the filter or should I keep them far apart?

Just a thought for the best possible cooling.

Anywhere near a current will distribute the heat well to the rest of your tank.

I picked up a rena heater from petsmart, they were on clearance a few weeks ago. Pretty good deals. I like how they connect right up to the rena xp filters.

I bought the same heater. There is a line on the side of the heater I submerged it up to that point. I also noticed when I do a water change and it goes below that line the heater will flash until the water is back up to that line.
