  1. Default New German Blue Rams, Male and Female?

I picked up a couple ~1.25" GBR's at the LFS the other day and I think I might have a male and female. They hang out together all the time and they did at the store too, but they were and still are the only GBR's in the tanks. They look different from each other so I think there is a chance I have a male and a female, and hopfull a pair that will spawn eventually. I have been looking at getting a few (4) more and seeing if I can get a pair out of it, is this a good idea?

They do seem to have alot of yellow on them, are they a Gold ram hybrid or are they still juvies that havent colored up all the way?

This is my first GBR experience and I could use all the help I can get.

    Female?

That what I thought with my previous Cichlid experience, but I wasn't sure about these two. Pink belly= female, taller head= male right?
They are pretty small still, only as big as my panda cories.

  6. Default german blue rams

A male gbr will have a forked tail like the male in my photo. A female will have a pink belly and a straight tail with no fork. They are beautiful little fish and may become aggressive. My male chases all my discus especially at feeding time.
