Thread: compatible fish

Hybrid View

  1. Default compatible fish

i have recently setup a 150 litre fish tank and while im waiting for it to cycle i am wanting to research some tankmates. i have a school of 5 rosy barbs who are very active and seem content chasing eachother around the tank. i really like the look of neon dwarf gourmais or simliar gourmais just wondering if i got get 1 (or possibly 2) i no they might scabble but the tank is planted and 3 feet long
    couple if questions there
    1. are dwarf gourmais compatible with rosy barbs if not what is reccomended?
    2. would 2 dwarf gourmais in that sized tank be ok?
thanks in advance for your help

    1. Rosys are a gentle barb so I iamgine it would be fine.

    2. I would only get one. If you want multiple consider a pair of pearl gouramis.

I would suggest 2 female pearls... I kept 1 male and 1 female and the male terrorized her.. 2 females and 1 male is best if u wanna get male
