My Moose was a pretty fantastic betta. He was a solid red crowntail with a dark body. His finnage was absolutely stunning, one of the most full-finned pet-store quality fish I've seen. But it was really his Mr. Aggro personality that made him. He would flare at anything and everything, and made some pretty impressive nests.
10g Community planted [java fern, anubias nana, crypts, vals]; male HMP betta [Carcharias], lophiobagrus catfish, blood-fin tetras, ember tetras
Journal
3g Planted [java fern, crypt]; male delta tail red dragon [Asmodeus]
30g Planned African community with kribs, African Butterfly Fish and dither

I had a beautiful opal white/green colored male that I got from Petco. I think he was a crowntail. He was small, and gorgeous, but I never got to see him grow up because one day he was being a little to curius and got sucked up the python. I immediatly stopped it and reveresed the flow. It was too late. I even let him float around the tank for like, 2 hours because I thought maybe he was just in shock- but no luck.
That being said- I am very partial to crowntails, and my white one (who is getting alot of red btw) is a halfmoon- and they have great fins too!30g:: Planted: 1 SAE, 1 Bristlenose Pleco, 5 Guppies, 3 Platys, 1 zebra danio, 9 Rasboras
2.5g: 1 Male Betta

My favorite betta is my most recent. I found him at the store and couldn't believe how beautiful he was. He's a halfmoon dragon. His name is Kotetsu (lronclad)
I have to say dragons are probably my favorite. Dragons basically have near metallic scales that shine in light. I also like mustards, which are blue/dark colored betta that have yellow/orange fins near their bodies that fade to dark colors at the tips.
