Weight loss/ exercise thread
Do we want one? I've been told to loose weight and I'm trying to exercise more...I've dropped almost 8 lbs in the last 3 weeks so I'm feeling good about it (even though I have to convince myself I'm not starving to death...lol)...
Just looking for a support group for the meantime, but if no one else is currently loosing weight, that's okay too...55 g Goldfish Tank - 5 Fancies, 2 Dojos

Congrats! The first week is hard. I have met several people who've had great success with Weight Watchers.
I'm on a reduced calorie, reduced carb diet. No forbidden foods...just a lot of counting.55 g Goldfish Tank - 5 Fancies, 2 Dojos

You're lucky your still young and it happens that quickly and easily. My husband was super-skinny when he was young...and he's still slim...but even though he runs marathons he also can't seem to loose that last 10 lbs anymore...

Way To Go!!
Congrats on the weight loss!
I'm trying to get rid of the 15 pounds I regained after I fell of the "diet wagon" around the holidays last year. I had been doing well, losing 26 pounds on a diabetes diet (don't have it, but it runs in my family). I couldn't resist all the candy, cookies and other sweet stuff, so the weight went right back on. Gotta learn to Just Say NO!! ;)
I'm a sugar addict. Can't walk by a plate of cookies without snagging one...or two...or three.
Just started back with exercising too. I'm lucky - there's a gym here at work and I take classes at lunch time. If I wait until I get home, it doesn't happen.
Keep positive, keep going and GOOD LUCK!Dragoon Woman

For me, and I know it is not quite in line with the thread. BUt working on farm works for keeping weight down. Then you can eat your self silly.

I'm still young, so still tiny; in fact I need to gain weight.
I hope you all reach your goals, though! Good luck! =D
A severe lack of trichogaster.
Just because your Gourami is sick does not mean it is always Iridovirus, DGIV, Gourami Disease, et cetera.
Look at all the other factors in your tank before coming to this conclusion.
