STOCKING ????'s
Hello –
My 30 gallon is cycled.
I’m running a 305 fluval filter. I’m planning on adding an emperor 280 filter in the near future. My current stocking includes 4 zebra danios, 2 dalmatian mollies and four tiger barbs. I was thinking about adding 3 golding barbs and 2 corydoras catfish. Do you think by adding these fish will exceed my tank size and will I have any compatibility issues?
Thank you in advance for any replies.

I personally didn't like mixing cory cats and tiger barbs because the cory's can't get away fast enough from the barbs if they get aggressive. Also the tiger barbs will get big (3-4") so keep that in mind. It's been so long since I've kept anything but cichlids so I'll let someone else chime in as to if that's too many.

Fishguy2727,
Thanks for the link. Basically what I got from the post is that there are too many variables to my question.

Personally I would stick with the same type of Barbs, more females than males. But I see no reason to think you will be overstocked with what you're planning. The 305 is probably enough filtration for your tank, as well.
