ooook
ok im doing my regular tank maintanence and i tested my ph ,hardness, alkaline, nitrate and nitrite. i was wondering on my indicator all are wel except my hardness how do i lower it and when i do, what effects will it have on my fish? does it even matter its been this way for a while and it hasn't seemed to bother the so far. am i wrong once again or does it have no affect on them . can it be that i have well water (country life) ????

Only RO water will get rid of that. My water is hard too and my fish do fine but I do have some problems with some plants.

for the most hardness is like ph, stable is better and fish can adjust usually.
