NLS experience
At first, I used NLS and didn't really notice much difference. So like others, I too switched to Hikari, the gold formula. So then I did more research on the food, particularly Fishguy's blog, and searched more on the internet. Then maybe a week or so ago I got firemouths, and I had NLS food thats the perfect size for them to eat. So after a few days, my firemouths, and oscar surprisingly got more brighter colors, my firemouth got much much more teal colors, and more orange. My oscars stripes are getting thicker, and more brightly orange. I really think NLS is a great food. Hikari is good too, but with my fish they really like the NLS and they look quite healthy from it. Another thing is, I started feeding the food again, because NLS can reverse HLLE, and I really think thats good because Oscars are proned to getting it, and anyway you can reduce HLLE from happening or anything like that, then you should get whats best for the fish. Its a quality fish food and I recommend it to anyone. The price may be a little steep but I think its well worth it. I have been using the NLS Large Cichlid formula 3mm sized pellets. When I run out of this formula, Im going to buy the NLS Jumbo floating pellets, 4.5mm. If you like I can post a picture up of my firemouth to get a really good idea of his colors.

Thats great Billy, I believe you said you have an oscar too right? My oscar loves the nls pellets. Since your oscar is bigger, I recommend getting the NLS jumbo floating pellets. It would be perfect for your oscar and Im sure he'd enjoy it.

I switched my marine tank to mostly NLS Thera+A formula. My Tang, Foxface and Clowns all look better. For some reason, my royal gramma won't touch it.
