10 Gallon Aquarium Stocking Questions Again
I have decided I want to setup my 10g aquarium for fish again. I went to Petco today and bought a couple of bags of small river stones and a small piece of driftwood. I also picked up a background for the tank. I decided I wanted it to be a setup with lots of rocks. I am thinking of getting a divider and putting a female betta on each side. But Im afraid that whoever is on the side with the filter will be injured. What can I do to prevent this from happening? The tank is filter and heated (80F). I was originally going to use the 10g as a setup for fiddler crabs, but I decided that I'd wait until after christmas when I get my 20g and set it up for fiddler crabs.

basicly like an undergravel filter but instead of useing the gravel for a filter media there is a sponge at the bottom of the tube
30g Planted - Rocky Balbetta, albino corys, Neons, Bolivian rams
55g - Australian perch, Medium crayfish, elodia
10g - holding tank
5g Hex - empty for the moment
100g empty

So for a sponge filter I'd need an air pump, tubing, and one of those sponge things?

you could also get a filter that you use for fry is is a foam filter run internally by a air hose and it will not injure your betta, i have one running in my angel tank(3ft divided) and it works really really well, i have not lost a fry yet and the water quality is at its best
