Id my tetra?
hi all!!
Im new to the forum, im just getting back in to keeping fish as i moved out of home 2 years ago and have only just been able to sort myself out with a tank and a substantial timed lease. so the main question of this post.... i was wondering if anyone could i.d my tetra i picked them up as they arnt one i had seen before in my old home town and they really caught my eye :)

That the Bentos Tetra or Ornate tetra, Hyphessobrycon Bentosi is the scientific name. Resembles the Rosy Tetra but the Rosy does not have the black shoulder patch.

Yeah but that's also quite typical dominance arguing you see in a lot of Hyphessobrycon species. Gets on my nerves which is why I never kept these. Still... good looking fish, absolutely!
