Brass Bubbles?
I am a brass musician and I have a number of old trumpets, one of them is 100% jammed and unfixable. It has occurred to me to rout my air tube through it and have bubbles come out the trumpet! :D however the instrument is made of lacquered brass with nickel fastenings. Is this safe to put in a fish tank?

It's a cool idea, but not a great idea for your fish tank. Brass is copper and zinc all rolled in together, and copper isn't so good for your fish, if they're exposed to it for long periods of time, even if it's just the smallest amount.

Eh, okay then. Maybe when I find a plastic trumpet. ;)

Hahaha, if it's blue, it'll be even better. Just like in How I Met Your Mother!
