Hey guys, sorry for the late reply...I'm fine, tanks are fine...we never lost power, luckily, just water pressure for a few days with all of the broken pipes, and people running water tp PREVENT...

Why would you restart the entire tank? Have you read about the nitrogen cycle in fish tanks, and was the tank cycled? Do you have a test kit to check your water parameters?

Cut back to feeding every other day, most tropical fish don't need to eat every day.
Any leftover food needs to be removed from the tank water.

If there is any leftover food after feeding, you are overfeeding, which is never a good thing.

A cycled tank will have 0 ammonia, 0 nitrItes, and some nitrAtes.
Just running a tank for a few weeks won't cycle it, cycling is a process that will take weeks, sometimes months.

Brown algae or diatoms, reduce your lighting period, you actually don't even need lighting while cycling.
