Just a quick update. I haven't done any changes other than resetting the light timer so it goes on and off at the exact same time and everything is normal. The tetras are 100% normal again. Not sure...

I think it's definitely light related. When I shut the tank lights off last night they all went back to their normal behavior. I waited a few minutes and turned the lights back on and they all rushed...
