Just remember, meds AND heat deoxygenate the water each by themselves. Doing both mean you may definately need an airstone or bubbler going .

The dwarf females were in the tank with the males and it was obvious who was who (got them at That Fish Place) the females are smaller, no obvious...

LOL, well maybe not quite THAT many but they don't have much of a bioload so you can have several dozen in there without a problem. They are suppose to breed fairly easily and...

I picked up my new AC20 for the 5 gallon tank today, got it set up, stuffed the entire filter cartridge (well, the mesh part with it's insides) inside the AC and got it running.

I agree. The mercury would be found inside that center, unbroken piece.

What size is your tank? 2 male gouramis will most definately fight and nip at each other. Maybe that is what you are seeing with the tail fin?
