The LFS are coming to look at it on Thursday. Have lowered water even more as it was still leaking from under the paneling. The LFS said the company would not replace the tank if it is the paneling,...

so far the leak does seem to have stopped. Now just need to hope all is good on Tues and I am right about just barely still being in warranty! I do NOT want to have to pull a tank apart. :ssmile:

Yeh - I will contact the maker - it is a local maker that the LFS deals with regularly. Can't think of the name now but they are in a few local stores out in the houston area - Ocean Atlantis? Or...

luckily enough in the summer out here - the tank only stays as cool / hot as my A/C - so he should be OK for that. :ssmile: Will call Tuesday and see what they say - hopefully it is good :ssmile: .

I think it is your water. Are you doing daily WC's until your levels are good?
How long has tank been set up? What size tank is your filter rated for? It looks to me like you may be at max. stocking...

Since you have no filter the water is probably at this point unsafe - hence the eye/fin rot. Also - if it has no filter and no air bubbler, it needs to be oxygenated. I don't know anything about...
